Annual Market & Financial Survey

This survey, conducted in conjunction with The MarshBerry Letter, provides a perspective on how the current marketplace is affecting agencies.  A series of about 30 questions are presented that ask market and financial information about your agency.  The responses are averaged, and only the averages are published, never individual answers.

The on-line survey is now available to anyone that is interested in participating and will be open until July 20, 2007.  The results are shared via e-mail with ALL participants, whether you currently subscribe to The MarshBerry Letter or not. The results and the analysis of the results will be published in the September 2007 issue of The MarshBerry Letter.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by clicking the following link.  You do not have to be a subscriber to complete the survey and receive the results.

Set a Retained Earnings Goal

The average independent agency is under-capitalized!

Retaining earnings provides the ability to invest in an agency's future (i.e., perpetuating internally, hiring producers or purchasing an agency) and/or the ability to withstand unforeseen circumstances. When managed properly, it can significantly increase the value of an agency.

This Calculating Tool allows you to set goals for increasing retained earnings and position your agency for opportunities when they arise. To get started, click the link below!
