Distributie is nog sterk verankerd in tied agents en bancassurance, met name in de particuliere markt. Dit beperkt de rol van brokers in grote delen van de markt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daardoor ziet de M&amp;A-opportuniteit er anders uit. De pijplijn wordt niet gedreven door duizenden kleine, opvolgingsgedreven exits van brokers. In plaats daarvan richt consolidatie zich op het versterken van posities in het zakelijke, corporate en specialty segment, waar brokers kunnen concurreren op advies, complexiteit en toegang tot capaciteit. Fragmentatie is er wel, maar laat zich niet eenvoudig opschalen. Dat maakt selectiviteit bepalend voor dealmaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-q1-dynamiek-gerichte-platformuitbouw-door-actieve-consolidators\"><strong>Q1-dynamiek: gerichte platformuitbouw door actieve consolidators<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De activiteit in Q1 laat een markt zien waarin een klein aantal platforms gericht bouwt aan zijn positie, terwijl de bredere markt relatief stabiel blijft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ardonagh Group bouwde zijn Italiaanse platform via Mediass verder uit met overnames van GMC Broker, Assicura Point Broker en Bucchioni\u2019s Studio. Consulbrokers, gesteund door J.C. Flowers &amp; Co., richtte zich op het uitbreiden van capabilities. De overname van IGB Insurance Gold Brokers voegt een duidelijke specialisatie toe in medische aansprakelijkheid, terwijl Exe Insurance Broker de positie in corporate risk advisory versterkt. GBSAPRI\u2019s overname van Smith Bilbrough &amp; Co. biedt directe toegang tot Lloyd\u2019s en versterkt de plaatsingsmogelijkheden voor complexe risico\u2019s. De uitdaging ligt niet in het vinden van deals, maar in het bouwen van een platform dat relevant is binnen een distributiestructuur waarin brokers niet vanzelfsprekend dominant zijn. Specialisatie is daarbij de rode draad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De Italiaanse markt telt een aantal actieve consolidators die gericht werken aan de uitbouw van sterke platformen.
