Lincoln International, a global investment banking advisory firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Eduard Egelie as a Managing Director in Lincoln’s Financial Services Group<\/a>. Based in London, Eduard will lead the firm\u2019s European financial services advisory capabilities, bringing more than three decades of experience advising financial institutions and deep expertise in the European insurance sector. In his new role, he is also responsible for MarshBerry\u2019s European team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe financial services sector is undergoing a period of significant change, driven by regulatory initiatives, AI-enabled disruption and continued consolidation,\u201d said Friedrich Bieselt<\/a>, Managing Director & Head of Business Services, Europe. \u201cClients across the U.K. and Europe will benefit from Eduard\u2019s leadership and strong track record of advising financial institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eduard\u2019s hiring reflects Lincoln\u2019s continued investment in and expansion of its financial services advisory practice. The firm has recently added senior talent in the U.S.<\/a> and expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of MarshBerry<\/a>, a global leader serving the insurance brokerage and wealth and retirement sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining Lincoln, Eduard served as Head of Financial Institutions Corporate Finance at Societe Generale. Earlier in his career, he held roles at RBS and Credit Suisse.
