WOODMERE, Ohio, December 20, 2023<\/strong> \u2013 MarshBerry, a global M&A advisory firm for insurance brokers and wealth management firms, congratulates Howden Broking (Howden) on their pending acquisition of VLC & Partners Holding (VLC). MarshBerry served as the exclusive financial advisor to Howden on the transaction which closed on December 19, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously under the ownership of Dutch insurer, De Goudse NV and management, VLC is one of the largest independent insurance brokers operating in the Netherlands. The brokerage specializes in mid-corporates, small-medium enterprises, and high net worth individuals. It will integrate 500 employees and seven branches into Howden\u2019s existing operations in the Netherlands. The acquisition further enables Howden to scale its existing operations in the Dutch market, one of Europe\u2019s major insurance markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
