Amsterdam, Netherlands – MarshBerry, a leading investment banking and consulting firm serving the insurance distribution and wealth management industries, is pleased to announce that Austrian insurance and risk management specialist GrECo will acquire a majority stake in Greek insurance broker Comergon. MarshBerry acted as the exclusive financial and strategic advisor for Comergon in this transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The acquisition expands GrECo\u2019s presence in the Greek and Cypriot markets. Founded in 1971, Comergon employs 15 people and serves a strong client base of approximately 450 business clients, including both multinational and local companies. This strategic partnership enables Comergon to leverage GrECo\u2019s extensive network and resources, allowing them not only to better serve their clients but also to expand their reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
