Megan is passionate about turning data into knowledge—and delivering knowledge in innovative, results-driven ways to clients, colleagues, and the insurance industry. She initiated the launch of MarshBerry’s Intellectual Capital division, grew the team from four to 10 people within a few years, and has impacted more than $5 billion of annualized revenue for more than 1,200 clients across the U.S. and internationally.
Megan’s leadership is revolutionizing how insurance executives utilize data in their operations by providing analytics and benchmarking. An inspiration and advocate, Megan is one of two women on the Board of Directors at MarshBerry, also serving on the Strategic Planning Committee. Her dedication to promoting the career development of others, and creating innovative programs at MarshBerry, has fueled measurable growth. When she joined MarshBerry in 1998 as a financial analyst, MarshBerry employed 10 people. Today, with the help or her internal leadership and mentorship, MarshBerry has grown to a team of over 100 employees.
Driving Thought Leadership
Megan launched MarshBerry’s Thought Leadership Initiatives, which produces and supports company publications, industry research, presentation content and consulting best practices. With this, MarshBerry has produced two dozen research reports and presented at more than 1,100 public speaking engagements. She also supports MarshBerry’s CounterPoint, a proprietary monthly magazine.
Developing Meaningful Careers
Megan is intimately involved in recruiting, hiring and developing MarshBerry consultants—many of whom have grown in the organization to leadership roles because of her mentorship. She helped develop the Summer Internship Program and promotes continuing education, encouraging staff to gain knowledge, grow and develop.
Committed to Strategy
Megan has worked with thousands of insurance firms, providing data analytics & performance benchmarking, valuation consulting, strategic advisory, operational improvement, management consulting, as well as buy- and sell-side representation. Internally, Megan is instrumental to the MarshBerry Vision, supporting the initiative to double revenue by 2020 with her sought-after consulting services and talent for hiring and developing team members. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Finance major and Economics minor from the University of Dayton. She is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
