Jared Roy joined MarshBerry in 2009 as a sales consultant handling new business development for the East Coast of the United States. He was primarily responsible for generating new business relationships, uncovering and identifying agency needs, and helping facilitate the execution of a variety of projects across all business units at MarshBerry.
In 2012, Jared’s new business efforts were focused on building growth within MarshBerry’s executive peer exchange network – Connect. After leading the company in creating new Connect partners, he was selected to join the New Business Development team in 2015. In his current role, he specializes in building relationships with new and prospective clients and plays an integral part in helping drive new business for MarshBerry.
Jared possesses 24 years of sales experience working with executives, surgeons and health care professionals. Jared utilizes his strengths and passion to help insurance agencies and brokers identify solutions as they work to improve their businesses by driving growth, profit and value.
In the ten years prior to joining the MarshBerry team, Jared was a sales consultant in the medical devices industry. Prior to that, he spent his first few professional years as an account executive and sales trainer with a market- leading document services company.
Jared currently maintains the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®) Exam, in addition to the Series 62 and 63 FINRA Registrations through MarshBerry Capital, Inc., the affiliated FINRA-registered Broker/Dealer of Marsh, Berry & Co., Inc. He also holds an active Property & Casualty license for the state of Ohio.
Jared received a bachelor’s degree in athletic training for sports medicine and a certificate in sales and marketing from the University of Akron.
