Renaud joined MarshBerry in November 2022 and is primarily responsible for the servicing of French clients and operation of MarshBerry’s branch in France.
Prior to MarshBerry, Renaud was General Manager of QBE France, the French branch of QBE Group, and was instrumental in developing the brand and building QBE’s book of business in France, both in Paris and through its regional offices.
Previously, Renaud held several top management positions in the insurance brokerage and reinsurance industries in Europe, Middle East, and the US. He served on the Executive Committee of Aon France, in charge of Large and Middle Market segments as well as several Specialty practices. He also contributed to the growth of Marsh and WTW in France as a member of their respective Executive Committees, in various roles ranging from head of Specialties to manager of Corporate client practices and head of Strategy.
Renaud has also established and managed the corporate clients practice of SCOR Re, Scor Business Solutions, operating in 15 countries.
He started his career as an underwriter and broker in the Saudi Arabia branch of Diot, before heading Diot’s Global Corporate Casualty Practice in Paris. Renaud subsequently was director Corporates at Aon in New York.
Renaud holds a baccalaureate in Law (Paris V University) and a diploma from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris).
