Allyn is a Vice President advising insurance brokerage, wealth management and financial services firms on merger and acquisition (M&A), business valuations and ownership transition strategies. He works closely with founders, shareholders and executive leadership teams to evaluate strategic alternatives and execute transactions that maximize long-term shareholder value.
Since joining MarshBerry in 2022 as a financial analyst, Allyn has advised on more than 20 completed M&A engagements and 15 business valuation projects. His experience includes transactions involving retail insurance agencies, TPAs, wholesale brokers, benefit administration firms and managing general agents (MGAs), providing him with specialized expertise across multiple segments of the insurance distribution ecosystem.
Prior to MarshBerry, Allyn spent several years in commercial banking, underwriting middle-market companies across commercial and industrial, commercial real estate and agricultural sectors. His experience in financial analysis and credit underwriting complements his advisory work and enables him to provide clients with practical, data-driven strategic guidance.
Allyn earned bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Business Marketing, with a minor in Economics, from Cornerstone University.
