Bud joined MarshBerry in 2021 and currently serves as a Vice President. He primarily focuses on sell side merger and acquisition (M&A) advisory, while also supporting buy side and strategic planning engagements across the Wealth Management, Insurance, and Accounting & Tax industries. Bud works closely with business owners, shareholders, and executive teams to navigate complex transactions and provide strategic guidance. He leads execution from initial engagement through closing, delivering hands-on support throughout the transaction lifecycle with a focus on maximizing enterprise value and achieving successful outcomes.
Prior to joining MarshBerry, Bud was an analyst at a global macroeconomic investment research firm. His analysis contributed to research reports used by hedge funds, family offices, and high-net-worth investors to assess financial markets and investment opportunities.
Bud currently maintains the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®) Exam, in addition to the Series 7, 79, and 63 FINRA Registration through MarshBerry Capital, LLC, the affiliated FINRA-registered broker-dealer of Marsh, Berry & Co., LLC.
Before beginning his career in finance, Bud was a middle school teacher and an ocean lifeguard in Orange County, California. He holds a Master of Finance degree from the University of California, Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business. Outside of work, Bud serves as a volunteer leader with Young Life.
