Phil Trem Named to Insurance Business America Hot 100

MarshBerry is proud to announce that Phil Trem, Senior Vice President, was named one of Insurance Business America’s Hot 100.

Phil joined MarshBerry in 2010 as a Vice President on the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) team and was named Senior Vice President in 2015.  He is a key contributor to MarshBerry’s M&A services division*and has extensive knowledge in the areas of acquisition analysis, due diligence, deal negotiation and integration planning. He’s personally been involved in 25+ transactions since his arrival at MarshBerry.

 Aside from his responsibilities within the firm’s M&A division, Phil is a regular contributor to MarshBerry’s consulting practice.  His consulting activities involve internal perpetuation planning, agency valuations, business planning, financial and organizational development, compensation strategies and as a facilitator within MarshBerry’s Peer Exchange Networks. Along with his consulting activities, Trem is also an active thought leader in the industry.  Since 2013, Trem has been published more than sixty times in industry-leading publications, including MarshBerry’s own proprietary publication – CounterPoint. He is a keynote speaker at agent association meetings, insurance carrier elite meetings and executive leadership forums, including Selective Executive Symposiums, the Annual Insurance Brokerage Summit (formerly the SNL Financial Insurance Brokerage Summit) and training workshops.

Phil currently maintains the Series 62, 79 and 63 FINRA Registrations through MarshBerry Capital, Inc., the affiliated FINRA-registered Broker/Dealer of Marsh, Berry & Co., Inc.
