Kelly Smith is a Regional Vice President at FirstChoice, a MarshBerry Company, where she leads agency growth and strategic partnerships across Virginia. With nearly two decades in the property & casualty insurance industry, she specializes in helping independent agencies scale through aggregation, market access, and operational strategy.
Kelly holds CPCU and CRIS designations and earned her MBA in Insurance in 2025. She has been recognized as PIA Company Representative of the Year and Rookie of the Year at FirstChoice/MarshBerry. She is actively involved in industry leadership through organizations including PIA, CPCU, and the IIAV.
Known for her relationship-driven approach, Kelly is passionate about developing future leaders, advancing diversity and inclusion, and strengthening the independent agency channel.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two high school children, camping, fishing, and visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
