As Vice President of Growth Advisory, Eric’s primary responsibility is to help firms create executional strategic plans to increase firm value, energize their recruiting efforts and increase sales velocity. Eric co-facilitates multiple Strategic Issues Groups within MarshBerry’s executive peer exchange network, Connect. He is also tasked with generating and maintaining client relationships via business perpetuation planning and strategic business sessions.
In addition to his work with independently owned insurance agencies and brokerages, Eric does extensive consulting work with bank-owned agencies and specialized insurance distributors with MarshBerry’s Specialty Distribution sector.
Prior to MarshBerry, Eric spent over 25 years in various sales and management roles within the insurance industry as an agency owner and a vice president at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and Aon plc. Prior to these roles, Eric began as a sales professional and analyst at Progressive Insurance.
Throughout his career, Eric’s passion for the insurance industry has branched through managing and mentoring both seasoned professionals or those entering the insurance industry. Eric has also been a keynote speaker and has done numerous speaking engagements for clients as well as industry associations throughout the country.
Eric holds a BA from Marietta College and has held his Property & Casualty license in multiple states for over 25 years.
