Brooke Lugonjic is known as the program leader and membership architect for MarshBerry’s Connect Network. She’s a believer that learning from others’ successes can be key to growing a firm to it’s full potential. Brooke’s mission is to preserve that legacy while evolving with innovative ways to drive more value for member firms.
Deeply Rooted in Talent
Brooke joined MarshBerry in 2016, bringing executive project management and full- cycle talent acquisition experience including recruiting, selection, retention, diversity and inclusion, and more. She spent most of her career in the insurance agency setting and brings this understanding to clients who are looking to fill talent gaps. Previous roles at MarshBerry focused on organic growth consultation, executive peer-to-peer exchange facilitation, and internal leadership and product development for MarshBerry’s Talent Acquisition and Sales Performance team consultants.

Brooke has been recognized as a 2019 Business Insurance Young Gun for her subject matter expertise of ‘talent’ to the insurance industry. At MarshBerry, Brooke holds the record for hiring the most producers in one year. Her other accolades include a SPARK Award for content contributed toward MarshBerry’s thought leadership, and a Rookie of the Year 2018 business development award. Brooke is a frequent author for MarshBerry’s blog – Today’s ViewPoint and presents frequently at insurance industry events and professional organizations.
Experience Beyond MarshBerry
Before joining MarshBerry, Brooke served as a Corporate Project Manager and HR Specialist at Acrisure, where she oversaw agency partner acquisition integration and talent development for the company and its partners. She holds degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from Grand Valley State University, including a Human Resources post-baccalaureate degree and an MBA in strategic management from Davenport University. She recently served on the Association for Human Resource Management (SHRM) board of directors as Director of College Relations and is a former SHRM Young Professional Advisory Council representative.
You can find Brooke enjoying Michigan’s beaches and snow hills. Brooke is also a known supporter of the local food and arts scene such as the Grand Rapids Ballet Company and the Grand Rapids Art Museum.
