Armand joined MarshBerry in February 2021 and is responsible for supporting brokers in the Netherlands and Europe in their growth strategy by bringing MarshBerry’s proprietary insurance and merger & acquisition expertise to its international client base.
Prior to MarshBerry, Armand was director at Nationale Nederlanden, the Dutch market leader in corporate property & casualty insurance. Following the acquisition of Delta Lloyd, Armand led the successful integration of the coinsurance business and positioned Nationale Nederlanden as the leading Dutch large- account insurer.
Preceding his role at Nationale Nederlanden, Armand held senior management positions at Aon both in the UK and the Netherlands. At Aon, Armand implemented a market-leading broking strategy, leading to better client outcomes and significant revenue growth. Armand also managed, and significantly expanded, Aon’s risk consulting business. Due to his six year tenure in London working with Aon and Swiss Re, Armand has a good understanding of the London insurance and reinsurance markets as well as an extensive network across Europe.
Armand started his career as consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a masters in physics and attended the strategic management program at IMB business school in Switzerland.
