Dan Skowronski joined MarshBerry in 1994 as a Financial Analyst. He was promoted to Consultant soon thereafter and played a major role in the preparation of appraisal reports, perpetuation plans, and general consulting projects. He helped create and improve many of the models used by MarshBerry consultants to assist clients with valuation, perpetuation planning and merger and acquisition (M&A) projects. Promotions to Senior Consultant and Vice President over the next few years coincided with increased client- facing responsibilities in M&A advisory for various clients.

Dan is currently a Managing Director, consulting in the areas of M&A advisory, ownership perpetuation, valuations, and compensation consulting. He shares responsibility for training and developing the next generation of MarshBerry consultants as well as producing and delivering a wide variety of MarshBerry services. Dan also serves on MarshBerry’s Board of Directors.

Dan is called on to provide consulting advice in a wide variety of areas and has been published in a number of insurance publications, including Rough Notes and Independent Agent. He is also a resource and contributor to MarshBerry’s CounterPoint magazine.

Dan currently maintains the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®) Exam, in addition to the Series 62, 79, 24, 99 and 63 FINRA Registrations through MarshBerry Capital, Inc., the affiliated FINRA-registered Broker/Dealer of Marsh, Berry & Co., Inc.
Prior to joining MarshBerry, Dan worked for the Ohio Legislature and as Assistant State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Hiram College and a master’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.
