As Vice President – Connect Growth, MarshBerry’s executive peer exchange, Michael looks to leverage his 20 plus year career in insurance sales to build long-term trusting relationships with agency and brokerage partners. Michael values client relationships and believes that the key to creating strong partnerships is collaboration and that clients would not achieve the outcomes they did if we did not work collaboratively.
Michael has extensive experience in helping key partners drive their organic growth. Beginning in 2014, he was Vice President of JLT Specialty USA where he delivered revenue growth and closed new businesses across multiple industries and product specialties. He was instrumental in developing key prospects and new business growth while spearheading local industry partnerships, and fostering alliances with top attorneys, accountants and consultants. In 2019, he joined Willis Tower Watson where he built productive relationships with the top general contractors in Colorado and successfully rebranded the construction practice.
In 2021, Michael became the Director of Enterprise Sales at Aclaimant, Inc., in Arvada, CO, where he successfully closed multiple broker direct deployment deals. He managed and led the sales team implementing sales engagement strategies and sales models, engaged directly with leadership through management restructuring and interviewing potential new hires. Michael was subsequently promoted to Head of Insurance Partnerships for the firm in Chicago, IL, where he successfully created and managed SaaS partnerships with insurance brokers, risk consultants and industry advocates. Here, he implemented partner programs and supported infrastructure with proven success in delivering go-to-market strategies.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and has presented at the 2022 RIMS Innovation HUB. Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and creating memorable experiences.
